Over the summer, we examined how Central Business Districts (CBDs) are transforming post-pandemic. This transformation can be defined by what JLL identifies as eight core models. JLL categorizes CBDs in cities like Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., into the "hub-and-spoke" model, indicating a stronger suburban inclination while still maintaining extensive CBDs.
