Tammy Lee named CEO of Red Wing med-device company


Tammy Lee has been named CEO of Nanocore Corp., the Red Wing-based medical-device company announced Tuesday.

Nanocore makes wearable cooling products for therapeutic purposes and sells its products under the Nanohealth and Nanopause brands.

Lee was most recently CEO of Recombinetics Inc., a St. Paul-based gene-editing startup. Under Lee's leadership, Recombinetics raised a $34 million Series A financing round. Lee ran as an Independent in the 2006 5th Congressional District election and was defeated…
