TBJ Plus: $8.6M Durham park opens; Clay Aiken’s Raleigh home for sale; Epic show in night sky


BULL CITY PARK OPENS: It's a big day in the Bull City as Durham Parks and Recreation (DPR) is still celebrating its official opening of Merrick-Moore Park on Hoover Road.

On Saturday, a grand opening was held for the $8.6 million project with a total of 50 acres. It features 25 acres of developed park land, consisting of four natural turf soccer fields, parking with electric vehicle charging stations, a 3,000-square-foot picnic shelter and a restroom facility.
