Tempe approves plans for nearly 500 apartment units, with more than 1,000 in the pipeline


The 27-story Skye Tempe at 780 S. Myrtle Ave. is one of two new multifamily projects that have been given the go-ahead by Tempe City Council, though it narrowly passed in a 4-3 vote.
