Tennessee firm to buy Nutrisystem in $1.3B deal


Franklin-based Tivity Health Inc. is set to buy Pennsylvania-based weight-management company Nutrisystem Inc. in a cash-and-stock deal valued at $1.3 billion.

The deal is expected to close in the first quarter.
