Terrell Davis pays $3.3M for Cherry Hills mansion

Retired Denver Bronco Terrell Davis and his wife, Tamiko, purchased 19 Foxtail Circle in Cherry Hills Village for $3.3 million on Aug. 28, according to property records.

Andrew Peter Vanderploeg sold the six-bedroom, eight-bath, 7,000-square-foot home listed by Cathie Thompson and Marc Johnson with Realty One Group Premier Colorado. The mansion, built in 2004, was initially listed for $3.7 million in June.

THE ROCKIE WAY

Davis, a running back who won Super Bowl rings with the Broncos in 1998 and 1999, was the 1998 Super Bowl MVP and is the Broncos’ all-team leading rusher. Davis retired before the 2002 season due to injuries. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017.

He married Tamiko Nash in 2009, and they have three children. Tamiko Davis is an actress, model, and former Miss California who was first runner-up in the Miss USA 2006 pageant.

Davis, who moved his family to Denver in September 2022 after a long broadcasting career, is the co-founder of Defy, a sports nutrition company, and a partner at Alpha 1 Tax & Wealth, experts who provide wealth management and retirement planning services.

He also participated in the unsuccessful bid to buy the Denver Broncos led by private equity billionaire Josh Harris. Instead, a group led by Walmart heir Rob Walton purchased the team for $4.7 billion.

The home in the Buell Mansion neighborhood includes a chef’s kitchen, an elegant dining room and a music room. The second floor boasts a primary suite with a steam shower and three additional bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The home also has five fireplaces, two staircases, and three patio areas, including one with a fireplace.

Ann Durham with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty represented the Davises.
