Texas-based restaurant chain to open its first South Florida location


Del Frisco's Grille, an upscale bar and grill with locations nationwide, will open its first South Florida restaurant in Fort Lauderdale in October.

Owned by Irving, Texas-based Del Frisco's Restaurant Group (Nasdaq: DFRG), Del Frisco's Grille Fort Lauderdale will hire 150 people.

The 8,083-square-foot eatery, at Las Olas Square, 501 Las Olas Blvd., Suite 150, will serve brunch, lunch and dinner. It will seat 274 people, and feature a private event space that can host gatherings of up to 28 people.
