The Bay Area’s most valuable VC-backed companies, according to PitchBook


The Bay Area has garnered a reputation as a center of innovation and nest of successful startups, in large part due to the concentration of venture capital in the region.

According to statistics from data provider PitchBook, of the 30 most valuable VC-backed companies in the world, nearly a third are in the Bay Area, split up between San Francisco and Palo Alto.
