The Funded: Bay Area startups dominate TechCrunch Disrupt Cup finals


The competition for this year's TechCrunch Disrupt Cop had a distinctly Bay Area feel to it.

The winner, San Francisco-based Render Services Inc., was one four local companies that made it to Friday's final round out of the 20 who pitched judges over three days.

Another San Francisco company, OmniVis LLC, took the runner-up honors. The other local finalists were Mountain View-based Traptic Inc. and San Francisco-based Orbit Fab Inc.
