The Grid closes downtown, with new future apparently planned for its space


The Grid, a locally owned eatery that replaced Bennigan's in downtown Sacramento, has closed after just a few months of business.

A sign at the business confirms the closure, which was effective Thursday. The sign suggests there has been an ownership change, and a new bar and restaurant is coming to the space in the spring. Phone calls to the business on Friday yielded no response.
