The Jackson Laboratory continues expansion in North Sacramento


The Jackson Laboratory is continuing its Sacramento growth.

A recent building permit application filed with the city of Sacramento shows that the biomedical research institution is working on a $7.3 million renovation of its North Sacramento facility at 1650 Santa Ana Ave.

John Fitzpatrick, senior director of facilities services, said that the renovation will build out 13,000 square feet of shell space to try to meet the lab’s growing demand for preclinical research services.
