Their new event venue — off to a strong start — is a family endeavor


Since 2013, sisters Tonya Redmond and Constance McFarthing had been who family and friends would turn to if they needed an event organized and pulled together well.

McFarthing and Redmond had kicked around the idea of turning their talents into a business — then last year decided to take the leap.

"We were just like, 'either we're going to do it or let's stop talking about it, because it's using too much brain power,'" Redmond said.
