Therapy dog symposium coming to South Jersey


Responding to the growth in the use of certified therapy dogs, Rowan University will host what is being called the National Dog Show Therapy Dog Symposium in mid-November.

The daylong event — a forum for therapy dog practitioners and advocates along with members of the veterinary community — will be take place Nov. 19 at Rowan’s wellness center In Glassboro, New Jersey. The goal is for participants to share information and best practices.
