One of the less obvious groups impacted by Silicon Valley Bank's implosion was public pension funds. Research by Equable found funds that held millions of dollars in the stock of SVB Financial or Signature Bank, or invested in companies that banked with them. Overall, the impact on pension plans was seen as "minor," but the short crisis was a reminder of the far-reaching effects of financial instability.
