Not only is this hideaway in the mountains perfect for getting away from it all and making a dent in a book, the home's design was also broadly inspired by Henry David Thoreau's book “Walden.”
With a sleek design, tranquil setting and 10 minutes away from the nearest neighbor (by off-road vehicle), the 10,500-square-foot home called Walden House was designed by renowned architect Annabelle Selldorf, principal and founder of New York City-based Selldorf Architects.
