Three Twin Cities sites in running for USDA research offices


The U.S. Department of Agriculture is planning to move two research subagencies with hundreds of employees out of the Washington, D.C., metro area, and three locations in the Twin Cities are among those up for consideration.

The Washington Business Journal reports on the Tuesday announcement by the USDA, which cut the number of potential locations for the offices in half — though at 67 sites it's still a pretty long list. You can see the entire list of locations still in the running here.
