Thrive NC festival fills Raleigh’s City Market


The Triangle's burgeoning food and drink scene was on display Friday night as the hundreds of people swarmed the streets of Raleigh's City Market for the Thrive NC festival.

The festival, which began in 2018, included more than 60 restaurants, craft breweries and wine outlets arrayed along the streets of City Market. Some of the faces in the crowd included WRAL anchor Ken Smith and former U.S. Senate candidate Deborah Ross.

Tickets were $30 and proceeds benefit area nonprofits.
