Top Humana official is retiring soon


Jody Bilney, Humana Inc.'s chief consumer officer, plans to retire from her position effective Dec. 31, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

She's agreed to act as an adviser to the Louisville-based health insurance and health services company for a period of time after that, the filing states.

The company clarified that Bilney will transition out of her role by the end of the year.
