La Cumbre opened its doors Monday to its new Westside taproom.

La Cumbre Brewing Co. founder Jeff Erway said he spent the better half of three years looking for the right spot for the brewery's Westside location.

The 2,400-square-foot taproom includes a 900-square-foot patio. Kenneth Myers at Albuquerque-based Environmental Dynamics Inc. was the architect on the project, and Albuquerque-based Insight Construction was the general contractor. Erway worked with Kyla Stoker, retail services associate…
