Townhomes, apartments and a potential mixed-use development in Charlotte’s latest rezoning petitions


Only a handful of rezoning petitions were filed with the city of Charlotte during the month of December. These filings include several multifamily projects, a potential mixed-use development and a county-owned crisis center.

Dec. 6: 2022-217 — Mecklenburg County to rezone 9.2 acres at 3440 Reno Ave., from I-2 to B-1, to "construct a facility-based crisis center on the property adjacent to the Mecklenburg Medical Examiners Office."
