Towson University starts work on $184M science building


Construction of Towson University's new $184 million science complex will get underway Tuesday with a groundbreaking ceremony celebrating what will be the largest academic building on the school's campus.

The building will span 316,000 square feet and include 50 teaching laboratories, 30 research laboratories, 50 classrooms, 10 collaborative student spaces, eight lecture halls and an outdoor classroom.
