Trump earmarks nearly $500M for Louisville VA Hospital project


U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Monday that President Donald Trump has officially included $481 million in his fiscal 2020 budget for construction of the new Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville.

Of the $481 million, $410 million will go toward construction and $71 million will be used by the Army Corps of Engineers to manage the project, according to a news release from the the office of McConnell, R-Ky.
