TSMC inks workplace partnership agreement with state amid Phoenix factory safety concerns


More than two years after construction on the massive chip factory got underway, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. has come to an agreement with the Arizona Department of Occupational Safety and Health to set new standards for workplace safety. The leader of the Arizona Building and Construction Trades Council spoke to the Business Journal about his safety concerns at the site.
