Twin Cities craft brewer moving its music fest to Wisconsin


The Twin Cities' Surly Brewing Co. said Friday it will move one of its major events, Surly Darkness Day, to the Somerset Amphitheater in Somerset in St. Croix County.

The combination beer-release and heavy-metal music festival has been held just before Halloween at Surly's Brooklyn Center, Minn., location since 2007, when Surly debuted the imperial stout-style beer. It often draws nearly 5,000 people. But Surly ran out of the room it needed to expand the event.
