Twin Cities, Duluth hospitals reach agreements with nurse’s union, avoiding planned strike

Twin Cities and Duluth hospitals have reached tentative agreements with the Minnesota Nurses Association after facing a planned strike that would have seen up to 15,000 nurses walk off the job.

Allina Health, Essentia Health, St. Lukes, Children's Minnesota, North Memorial, M Health Fairview and HealthPartners’ Methodist Hospital have confirmed Tuesday that they reached settlements with MNA, after the union announced earlier this month its intent to strike beginning Dec. 11.
