UAB exploring new parking decks on Southside


The University of Alabama at Birmingham is conducting feasibility studies on two new parking decks on Birmingham's Southside.

The two decks – one at the corner of 11th Avenue South and 12th Street near the Alys Stephens Center and another at the corner of Fifth Avenue South and Richard Arrington Jr. Boulevard near Kirklin Clinic – were recommended as possible future decks in UAB's comprehensive parking and transportation study conducted by Kimley Horn.
