UNC Health Care to increase minimum wage for Triangle employees


UNC Health Care is planning a $15 million increase to its hourly employee budget – putting those dollars back into Triangle-area workers' pockets.

This week, the health system announced its intention to raise the minimum wage for its Triangle-area employees to $15 per hour by July 2020. Currently, all minimum wage employees make at least $12 per hour.
