UNCG School of Nursing awarded $2.6M to increase nurse practitioners in underserved communities


With a regional shortage of over 3,000 nurses projected by 2033, UNCG's School of Nursing will use a $2.6 million grant to increase the number of nurses in underserved and rural communities around Guilford County by working to remove financial barriers for students.
