Unpacking Austin’s housing market shift


When the COVID-19 pandemic hit Austin in March 2020, our region, along with the rest of the world, faced an unknown future. Activity in the housing market quickly dried up and although we prepared for different eventualities — including ensuring the real estate industry was deemed essential at the local and state levels — I don’t think any of us expected what would come next.
