Walgreens teams with Verily to lower health costs


Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. is teaming up with Verily, a sister company of Google, in an effort to lower health costs.

Deerfield, Illinois-based Walgreens (Nasdaq: WBA) said the two companies "will collaborate on multiple projects under a broad agreement aimed at improving health outcomes for patients with chronic conditions, while also lowering the cost of care."
