Well-known Louisville chef eyes Germantown for next restaurant


It won't be fried chicken, but the chef behind New Albany's Gospel Bird restaurant promises good eats at his new Germantown restaurant, which will open next year.

Louisville chef and restaurateur Eric Morris, who is also a co-owner of New Albany's recently opened Hull or High Water, said the new restaurant is at the very beginning stages of planning, but it will be a breakfast and lunch cafe/sandwich shop.

It's at 1039 Ash St., at the corner of Hickory Street.
