Wellstar Health System is closing the Atlanta Medical Center in Old Fourth Ward, the company confirmed Wednesday evening. Falling revenue along with increasing costs for staff and supplies are to blame.
The Atlanta Medical Center, located on the corner of Boulevard and Ralph McGill Boulevard, will close Nov. 1, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution first reported.
