WeWork gets $500 million for China expansion

Last summer, WeWork announced the creation of a subsidiary based in China.

At the time, the New York co-working space provider infused the unit — WeWork China — with $500 million, thanks to a series A investment from Hony Capital and the SoftBank Group.

WeWork China received a $500 million series B investment led by Trustbridge Partners and Temasek Holdings, as well as returning investors SoftBank and Hony Capital.
