Why the CEO of Peet’s Coffee took the helm at Boston Beer


Boston Beer Co. Inc.’s new CEO David Burwick said he was drawn to the position because of founder Jim Koch, making the shift from Peet’s Coffee to the biggest name in craft beer because of Koch’s vision and the trajectory of the company.

Burwick made the comments in an investor call last week after earnings, just a month after coming on with the company in March.
