Winking Lizard closes its Westerville Lizardville space, plans renovation


Changes are coming to the Winking Lizard in Westerville.

The Bedford Heights-based restaurant chain is closing part of its operation at 496 Polaris Parkway and renovating the inside.

The Lizardville beer and whiskey bar, which occupied about half of the 10,000-square-foot building, closed Thursday. The space is going to be repurposed as a dining room for the main Winking Lizard brand, which occupies the other half.

That current Winking Lizard dining room will then be converted into a game room.
