Workbar plans to double Boston presence by end of 2019


Despite a sense that New York-born co-working giant WeWork is now gobbling up all the headlines — and the office space — in Boston, homegrown rival Workbar Inc. says it’s set to grow locally as well.

Under the leadership of new CEO Sarah Travers, Workbar plans to double its presence in the Boston area by the end of 2019, which would bring Workbar's total office space to more than 100,000 square feet, she said in an interview.
