Y. Hata & Co. pays $10.3M for Waipahu facility


Y. Hata & Co., a Hawaii-based food service wholesale distributor, paid $10.3 million to acquire a 50,000-square-foot facility in Waipahu as part of the company’s acquisition of competitor King Food Service.

Y. Hata announced in early April that it acquired King Food Service, including its operating and real estate assets, but did not disclose the purchase price.
