1890s-era Deephaven estate sells for $7 million


A Deephaven estate originally constructed in 1890 has sold for nearly $7 million.

The 4,769-square foot home, which underwent a substantial remodel in 2010 by Excelsior-based Landschute, sold on Jan. 5, according to an electronic certificate of real estate value. The home combines “modern conveniences” while nodding to its original architecture, according to its initial listing with Compass’ John Adams Real Estate.
