$20 million Sheltair FBO complex lands at Rocky Mtn. airport

Aviation services company Sheltair Aviation has broken ground on a 21-acre, state-of-theart complex at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Jefferson County.

The fixed-base operator service facility will include a new terminal, hangar and build-to-suit office space opportunities, along with 10 acres of aircraft parking. It marks Sheltair’s first FBO presence west of the Mississippi River.

The $20 million facility is slated for completion next year and will employ approximately 20 people.
