300-job knife factory, HQ project dies in Leander


Leander City Council has voted to terminate an incentives agreement that would have helped Cangshan Cutlery build a 400,000-square-facility in the Williamson County suburb that was expected to employ hundreds. That means a prime site near the 183A toll road is up for grabs once more. The company produces high-end cutlery that is sold at Williams Sonoma, Crate & Barrel and Costco.
