$65M soundstage complex positions Niagara Street for a movie-making future


The corner property at Niagara and West Ferry streets was once a beacon for Buffalo’s industrial past with its collection of warehouses and food processing operations.

Not anymore, since construction has started there on a $65 million soundstage complex.

Great Point Media of London is building one 20,000-square-foot main soundstage and two 5,000-square-foot soundstages, both expected to open by September 2023.

The complex will be used for TV and film productions ranging from big-budget movies…
