95-year-old KCK company wins award for pharamacy innovation


A 95-year-old, family-owned company is proving that innovation doesn't just come from startups.

Balls Food Stores — which has 20 pharmacies throughout the Kansas City metro inside of its Hen House Market, Balls Price Chopper and Sun Fresh stores — recently was awarded a 2018 Pinnacle Award by the American Pharmacists Association.
