Minimum wage increase debate heats up as St. Paul restaurant workers rally for, and against, tip credit


Two groups held marches outside of St. Paul City Hall today, on different sides of the argument regarding whether or not a proposed $15 minimum wage in the city should include a tip credit.

A tip credit is a structure that allows businesses to pay tipped employees less than the minimum wage in St. Paul.
