A 470-acre ranch with rolling grassland dotted with hundreds of mature pecan and oak trees about 90 miles from Dallas is hitting the auction block.
The Whitmire Ranch, formerly known as The Historic Washington Ranch, will be auctioned Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. at the WinStar World Casino & Resort Convention Center, 777 Casino Ave., Thackerville, Okla.
The ranch is located just southwest of Marietta, Okla., two miles off Interstate 35 between Dallas and Oklahoma City.
