It’s hard to believe that the fall performing arts season is nearly here. So I decided to give Cincinnati Pops Conductor John Morris Russell a call to ask how the season is shaping up. He’d just returned from Kroger, where he is accustomed to being recognized as “the Pops guy.”
“I always say, what concerts did you go to? What was your favorite song? I’m constantly listening to what people have to say, and they’re always just so genuinely nice,” Russell said.
