Friedlander collection of Klee, Picasso, more attracts buzz ahead of auction


If you watch “Antiques Roadshow” on PBS, you know an item’s history is often more remarkable than the auction appraisal.

“The Friedlander Collection,” an assemblage of fine art to be auctioned at Caza Sikes Auction House in Oakley on Sept. 14, has fascinating stories along with well-documented provenance. The collection spans two generations of a Cincinnati family and includes some of the most notable artists of the 20th century.
