Abandoned gas station site in Plant City to be transformed into kidney clinic


The site of an abandoned gas station in Plant City will be demolished and turned into a new medical office building.

A project dubbed the "Plant City Medical Office Building" will comprise of a 7,461-square-foot dialysis clinic and nearly 2,000-square-foot kidney clinic, according to a site plan filed in the Southwest Florida Water Management District permits.

The project site is on the corner of North Wheeler Road and Monroe Street.
