Adam Jones closes on purchase of Cal Ripken Jr.’s estate — here’s how much he paid


It’s official: Orioles outfielder Adam Jones is now the owner of Cal Ripken Jr.’s 25-acre Reisterstown, Maryland, estate.

Jones, who surfaced as the buyer in several reports last month, paid $3.465 million for the sprawling property, according to the multiple listing service.

The Ripken home sold at a no minimum, no reserve price auction on May 12.
