After a 3-year limbo, St. Paul is reviving Grand Old Day


The long-time traditional Grand Old Day is coming back this summer. The festival’s 50th anniversary will be finally celebrated June 4, after three years of cancellations, organizers announced on the festival's website and on Facebook.

The last time Grand Old Day happened was in 2019, but it almost didn’t leave the track after originally being canceled due to a lack of cash. The Grand Avenue Business Association (GABA), which manages the event, was able to raise $75,000 to reverse the cancellation…
