Alpharetta apartments by “Alpha Loop” sell for $172 million

Pollack Shores Real Estate Group paid just over $172 million for a sprawling Alpharetta apartment development near Georgia 400.

The Atlanta real estate company completed the purchase of the 800-unit development Sept. 19, according to Fulton County records. It's the second largest metro Atlanta multifamily transaction this year behind only the sale of Emory Point next to Emory University and the CDC.

That project sold for about $175 million.
